The St. Joe Company is a real estate development, asset management and operating company with real estate assets and operations currently concentrated primarily between Tallahassee and Destin, Florida, which the Company predominantly uses, or intends to use, for or in connection with, various residential or commercial real estate developments, resorts and leisure operations, and leasing operations or forestry operations on a limited basis. The Company has significant residential and commercial land-use entitlements in hand or in process. The Company seeks higher and better uses for its real estate assets through a range of activities from strategic land planning and development, infrastructure improvements and promoting economic development in the regions where the Company operates.
